This report dated September 15, 1846 has been provided for the urban planning committees of various cities in England. My name is Taylor Perillo, and as a mid-level city inspector I trust that you will use the information within to determine appropriate needs in urban planning for your municipalities. My report has been through as I have made use of all the sources available to me and have worked to guide you through my own analysis and critical thinking to a full description of the issues facing our cities.
As I have seen the factories, I can determine the outcomes that impacted life in the industrial revolution positively. They had gorgeous palaces and a splendid scene. There was a great mart of trade and the owners are friendly. The owners were understanding and employed most of the people that needed or asked for jobs. (Doc B.) The working conditions weren’t that bad in these certain factories. They got many intervals of rest so they weren’t working constantly for hours. (Doc E.) Some of the places where the workers worked were good, safe environments for them to work in and get paid enough money to survive.
Although there were positive working environments, mostly all of the environments were very bad for the workers. They were so close to each other that is was hard to breathe. There was tons of child labor and the factories had fires.(Doc C.) The pollution was also very very bad especially for everyone's health.(Doc D.) There was a river that turned purple because of the color that was put into cotton but this happened with every dye they used. The rivers would turn red, blue, purple, and any color they used to dye.(Doc A.) There was also no food for the workers and it wasn't easy to get jobs in some places. (Doc E.) It was very hard to find jobs for some people and when they did find a job or the people who did have a job worked in mostly negative places that were very unsafe.
Overall, I believe that the industrialization revolution had a negative impact on living and the working conditions. The health of people was so bad that they’re getting ill and getting injuries that cause them to lose their jobs. There was also lots of child labor that cause the children’s life to be shorter than they should be. I think that industrialization cause a very negative atmosphere for people and it was very hard for people to work and live because it was such a negative place.
